Nursing Leadership & Nurse Burnout

Join us as we sail on Royal Caribbean's newest ship in the fleet - Harmony of the Seas. Our topic will be Nursing Leadership and Burnout; this seminar will provide you with a great opportunity to prepare for the next step in your nursing practice.

You'll attend seminars on days 'at sea' or at times when your enjoyment of the ports of call will not be affected. This ship has it all - neighborhoods to explore, high-dive water shows, ice-skating shows and even the Broadway Show - Grease.

Itinerary: We will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and head to the Eastern Caribbean with stops in Philipsburg, St. Maarten; San Juan, Puerto Rico & Labadee - Royal Caribbean's Private Island Oasis.

Course Description: Are you a nurse in a leadership position or hoping to obtain a position in leadership? This seminar is for you. This seminar will prepare nurses by identifying components of leadership; discussing components of error-free communication; discussing approaches to addressing conflict and disruptive behavior; discuss common barriers to change in an organization and strategies to minimize them; you will also discuss and identify stressors, as well as signs of nurse-burnout; nurses will also construct the beginning of a professional development plan.
